Oil Plus is an established production chemistry and integrity management consultancy, supporting Oil & Gas clients globally. We have a new position for a Proposal Coordinator to support the Oil Plus sales teams. The primary responsibility will be to deliver on sales targets and support with business growth.

The ideal candidate will be from an engineering or chemistry discipline background, with strong writing skills, excellent attention to details and the ability to generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter, multitasker who works well under pressure, and follows through on tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing responses to requests for quotation or tender documents
  • Collation, formatting and costing of proposals, to meet client expectations and objectives
  • Development of promotional materials, presentations, costing and reference database
  • Managing and responding to client ad hoc requests
  • Preparing project handover documents and conducting project handover meetings
  • Coordinating with engineering and technical departments to ensure marketing material is up to date
  • Business development support in Far East region
  • Facilitating updates to procedures and processes, to ensure compliance with quality systems
  • Support project managers with client liaison to always ensure client satisfaction.

Day to Day Activities

  • Update and maintain Sales CRM and QA documentation for the sales processes
  • Compile proposals and tenders for new projects
  • Organize project scope meetings, both internal and external

Technical and professional skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or proven experience of equivalent level.
  • A Qualification in engineering, business, or marketing
  • 5-10 years of experience, ideally within the oil and gas industry (preferably in a similar Role).
  • Experience in sales or similar industry a benefit, but not necessary
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling ability
  • Excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills.
  • High degree of IT Literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Words, MS project) with excellent numerical skills.
  • Willingness to travel outside of the UK as and when required.
