The purpose of this job is to facilitate support to the Technical and Engineering teams within Oil Plus and to be accountable to the company’s senior management team on accurately communicating successes and challenges. Essentially this is to oversee our project work at our offices in Newbury, UK. Day-to-day this role is required to work with our Technical and Engineering team members, assisting them in completing tasks in an orderly and timely manner to meet assigned deadlines, and to a technical standard that is acceptable to the client.
The job will encompass all stages of a typical Project Delivery Model (PDM) from forecasting, to monitoring, through to reporting and communicating progress both internally and externally with clients. Work Procedure OPL-SOP-PRJ-01 - Routine Project Coordinator Tasks details the specific function.
There will be a requirement to compile and own the above work procedure and to ensure that it evolves, with the role, to ensure that all routine tasks are accurately documented along with identifying areas of improvement. The Technical Manager shall set response times for reporting and tolerances.
It will be imperative that you maintain good customer relations and work with the Company Sales department to attain customer feedback analysis. Candidates should be able to multitask, have strong communication skills and business knowledge. As part of a dynamic technical team the post holder will be from a scientific background and familiar with the delivery of Production Chemistry and Microbiology tasks and solutions. You will be a team player and accustomed to working to deadlines. You will have experience in the Energy sector and be conversant with Quality Management Systems and their controls.
