Graduate Engineer - Asset Management

Due to recent contract awards, we require a suitably qualified graduate maintenance engineer to supplement our existing maintenance engineering team. The ideal candidate will be from a mechanical, instrument or electrical discipline background and have the following level of experience.

  • Knowledge of workflow methodologies to ensure completion of project tasks
  • An in depth understanding and delivery of maintenance management practices and systems
  • The ability to develop asset registers, maintenance strategies and planned maintenance routine for core disciplines
  • An understanding of how the final deliverable will be presented to ensure that all client business process needs are met

Requirements

  • A HNC or equivalent engineering qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience as a Discipline Engineer, OR a BEng / BSc engineering qualification and willingness to gain the necessary practical experience
  • Practical knowledge of CMMS, AIMS, ERP or EAM solutions from a management, user or implementation perspective
  • Must be able to plan and organise allocated tasks to meet project deadlines and budgets; attention to detail is a necessity
  • Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently is essential
  • A high level of PC literacy, including Microsoft product software such as, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
